About me
Matthew Josephat MATIMBWI is a holder of: B.Sc. Agric. Engineering (Sokoine University of Agriculture); M. Sc. Appropriate Technologies and Extension Skills, and PhD in Solar Photovoltaics (University of Flensburg).
Working in the industries of Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) for more than 30 years.
Matthew has experience of working in RE & EE interacting with Government of Tanzania and International Partners. He is involved in advocacy for business enabling environment, project planning and development, and sectorial private sector regional intergration. He has been sharing experience in different gatherings. He is playing a role of source of information for RE&EE business in the mainland Tanzania.
My organisation
We are the Tanzania Renewable Energy Association (TAREA), a collective dedicated to promoting the use and development of renewable energy throughout Tanzania. Our mission is to support the transition to sustainable energy solutions by connecting stakeholders, fostering innovation, and advocating for policies that encourage renewable energy investments. Through collaborative efforts, we strive to empower communities and businesses with clean energy technologies, facilitating a greener and more sustainable future for our nation.
